Welcome to NETP Beijing

We are pleased to announce that the 1st International Symposium on Non-Equilibrium Transport Phenomena (NETP) will be hosted by Institute of Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and The Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. The symposium will be held in Beijing, China from 7th to 10th of April 2025

The symposium provides a forum for scientists, researchers, and engineers to discuss and exchange knowledge on the latest developments, research findings, and applications related to non-equilibrium transport phenomena associated with fluid flows. These phenomena include non-equilibrium interfacial dynamics, aerothermodynamics,  surface confined nano-scale transport phenomena,  transport of fine particulates, and particle transport in rarefied fluid flows.

NETP will bring together experts from various fields such as engineering, applied mathematics, physics, chemistry, and materials science to discuss and tackle complex problems and challenges in the study and application of non-equilibrium transport phenomena. High-quality research findings presented at the symposium will be published in special issues of internationally-leading scientific journals including Physics of Fluids.

Young Scholar Awards (PhD students) and Young Scientist Awards (under 35) will be given at the symposium (more details will be announced in due course). Please check regularly the website for updates on the symposium details.
